What’s Ahead in 2012, Part 2

One a recent walk my two-year old grandson, Samuel put his hands in his pockets shortly before he and I raced towards his aunt. With no hands to break his fall, Samuel fell flat on his face in a place where sharp rocks lay exposed. Blood gushed from his top lip! His defenses were locked up in his pockets!

Yesterday, I received a prophetic word about 2012. As I read it, I thought that’s frightening!¬†Interestingly, the author observed that in 2012, each believer must take authority over crazy weather patterns and fear-producing natural disasters in his own environment just as Jesus did over the storm on the Sea of Galilee.

Upon reflection, I saw the position declaration will have in the upcoming year. It is time for all hands to be on deck so to speak!

This is not a day to run with your hands in your pockets. This is a day to be ready for what might rise up to meet you in 2012! Lesson learned. No running with hands off attitude! Bring every part of you into the action.

Gather together and come!

Declare what is to be!

Then watch God open the gates and reveal hidden treasure so that his name will be glorified!

About Your Flourishing Life

As a child, Marlee Huber loved to ramble through gardens sampling juicy berries and delighting in the heady fragrance of roses. As an adult, she thrills at maintaining a country garden in the foothills of the Washington Cascades. Something happened in 2012 that changed everything for Marlee. She followed the love of her life as he bicycled across the continent from their home in the NW to his brother's home in the Virginia. Ninety days later she came home and has never been the same. After photographing the backroads and hamlets across America--all on auto, she came home and took an online photography course, read dozens of books on technique and vision and stepped out into a new career. Her passion is coaching young people to discover their brilliance. She calls it Life-Themes Coaching and during one nearly half-day session, she unpacks what makes you brilliant and one of a kind. Then she matches the discoveries with a photography session where she tells the story of your life with her camera. In her personal life, she is a wife, mother, and grandmother delighting in her flourishing family!
