Okay–back to the foodie focus. Two more top choices in food can blend together beautifully with a third that is also very good for you.
So which of the three is a secondary choice in very good food?
If you said almonds–you’re right. It’s what you make first–the almond milk.
Almond Milk is totally easy to make in a blender and great when you forget to buy milk. It’s really really yummy just by itself! Place in blender:
1 cup of raw almonds
3 cups of purified water
3 Tablespoons of molasses or Agave to taste
1.5 teaspoons vanilla
.25 teaspoons of salt
Blend thoroughly together in a Blendtec or VitaMix.
Refrigerate. Use for anything that requires milk. It is so yummy–and very healthy!
When the almond milk is chilled you can prepare your really healthy smoothie.
1 cup chilled almond milk
1 cup frozen blueberries
1-2 teaspoons natural unsweetened cocoa.
Blend together in one of these marvelous health-building machines.
