You are Not Alone–in being Alone! pt.3

The President of the United States is probably the loneliest man on the planet. Clinton kept Buddy, the dog. Bush 43 kept a mountain bike. Obama keeps a golf club.

The most powerful man in the world is the most lonely man in the world.

How odd.

The press complains that Obama golfs way too much. The President says it is the only way he can get outside and enjoy some fresh air and sunshine. Imagine being a dad not able to run your daughters down to Cold Stone Creamery for mud pie over double Oreo sprinkled with pecans? Imagine dreaming of sitting anonymously in Central Park watching New Yorkers scurry by? Now that’s lonely!

Imagine keeping company with Buddy? Good to a point.

Imagine keeping company with a bicycle? Wear a helmet!

Imagine keeping company with a golf club? Hide it from the press!

That’s lonely!

No wonder the #1 best-selling title for a post is You are Not Alone!

So if 20-somethings and 80-somethings and the most powerful man in the world share a common dilemma, where is the content to follow the title?

Do you have the content? Share it with the world? They’re desperate! Write it here–or start your own blog and call it You are Not Alone!

Marlee Huber ~ uber contending for Your Flourishing Life!

About Your Flourishing Life

As a child, Marlee Huber loved to ramble through gardens sampling juicy berries and delighting in the heady fragrance of roses. As an adult, she thrills at maintaining a country garden in the foothills of the Washington Cascades. Something happened in 2012 that changed everything for Marlee. She followed the love of her life as he bicycled across the continent from their home in the NW to his brother's home in the Virginia. Ninety days later she came home and has never been the same. After photographing the backroads and hamlets across America--all on auto, she came home and took an online photography course, read dozens of books on technique and vision and stepped out into a new career. Her passion is coaching young people to discover their brilliance. She calls it Life-Themes Coaching and during one nearly half-day session, she unpacks what makes you brilliant and one of a kind. Then she matches the discoveries with a photography session where she tells the story of your life with her camera. In her personal life, she is a wife, mother, and grandmother delighting in her flourishing family!
